They had to go find an Aspen tree so they could do their camping tradition of carving. They went a little overboard and brought back a whole tree.

We just got back from our camping trip. 1st time in the 5th wheel. Now that's the way to camp!! It was just us so it was very quiet, but relaxing. We decided we have much more fun when our friends come with us. We did quad riding and pretty much know every road up there now. That means we are going to have to find a new place to explore. We came upon a huge flock of wild turkeys and their babies, that was cool. Taylor and Don went crawdad hunting, I won't touch the cockroach looking things. I'll get some pictures of that on soon.

School starts next week and I wish we had a couple more weeks of summer. Back to schedules and stress. Aubrey is a senior this year so this will be a great and exciting year for her. Taylor is starting 5th grade and she is not my little girl anymore. She is only about 5 inches shorter than me.

My First Blog Effort

So here I go, trying to understand this blogging thing. I'm not very patient so who knows how far this will go. We had a fun picture shoot at the Fritz Photo Gallery!! Thanks Paul for taking all the pic's, and thanks Steph for putting us in our poses!

Aubrey had her 1st ballroom dance lesson today. The instructor said she is a fast learner (that's what all the boys say too) JUST KIDDING!! She has developed a huge desire to learn it so that is what she got for Christmas this year.

Taylor got her first Ipod for Christmas. She also got a Disney SingIt which is Karaoke. Got some great blackmail video of Taylor and Aubrey trying to be rockstars.
